Natural Rosacea Cures

If you are seeking rosacea cures, you should avoid triggering the symptoms of the disease. A common cure is laser therapy that can lessen the flush and the presence of blood vessels. Alternatively, there are rosacea cures that can be naturally sourced from Mother Nature.

ChrysanthellumIndicum

Most rosacea cream contains extract of ChrysanthellumIndicum cream. It has been a wide treatment for this skin condition. The extract of this herb is known to strengthen the capillaries. In one study, the effectiveness and safety of this extract is proven in more than 240 people who used a cream with 1% of Chrysanthellumindicum extract, applied twice a day. After three months of use, it improved the symptoms of rosacea and lessened the redness of the face.

Niacinamide

This compound is one type of Vitamin B3 and is used topically as a rosacea cure. It improves the moisture level of the skin and lessens inflammation. Moisturizing products such as facial moisturizer containing Niacinamide resulted to improved skin barrier after a month of use. Oral niacinamide may also result to similar results.

Licorice

This is an herb commonly used as a cream for rosacea. It lessens facial redness and improves skin condition within 4 to 8 weeks of continued use.

Digestive Enzymes

In some people with rosacea, indigestion is a common symptom. This happens after the intake of fatty foods. Rosacea can result to pancreatic enzyme lipase deficiency. To ensure better digestion, one can take pancreatic enzyme supplements during mealtime.

Vitamin B

There is also an inadequacy in riboflavin in people diagnosed with this skin condition. This is caused by poor absorption of nutrients in the digestive tract. It can also be because of insufficient dietary intake. Taking vitamin B or supplements that contain riboflavin can dramatically improve a patient’s condition.

Azelaic Acid

Azelaic cream can be sourced from barley, rye and wheat. It has antimicrobial action that slows down the growth of skin bacteria, thus reducing facial redness, pustules and papules associated with rosacea. Topical metronidazole which contains 0.75% cream can reduce the presence of pustules and papules on skin and can reduce redness.

Apple Cider Vinegar

This can be taken orally, either in tablet or liquid form, as a rosacea cure. It normalizes the bacterial balance in the intestinal area. But, it is advised to consult your doctor before taking this alternative treatment.
